Features
Incident Search Report

A “Dispo Initial Match” option was added to the parameter screen. If this box is checked, only the first Incident/sup which matches the specified disposition codes is printed. This can be useful for counting how many incidents have been cleared by arrest, citation, etc.
A Reports total has been added to the report. This shows how many incidents and supplements were found.
The Incidents total shows how many incidents were found, regardless of how many supplements were found.

Database Transaction Log by Date Report

This report prints a log of all of the changes to the LEADS database during the specified time period. This includes all adds, changes and deletes made, including who made the change and when.

Database Activity Totals by User Report

This report totals how many entries were inserted, changed or deleted from each table for each selected user. This can be useful for measuring work done be individual users.

Video Evidence

A video evidence check box was added to the Incident screen, and the Incident Report.

Better Error Messages

Better file descriptions were added so that system error messages such as “Duplicate Key” or “Not Available” would have more meaningful descriptions.

These reports now have all of the search functionality that the Incident Search report has.

Combine Individuals

Because of changes made to insure referential integrity, Combine Individuals takes much less time to complete.

Insert/Change Incident
Incident Number reassignment

While an incident was being changed, if the Report Date was changed, the program would assign a new incident number matching the new Report Date. Now, a new incident number is assigned only when adding a new incident, not while changing an existing incident.

Incident Individuals

The system would allow an individual to be deleted from an incident, when they were present on an Arrest screen. This would result in MACR errors.
The system would allow an individual to be deleted from an incident when they were present as a victim in an Offense screen.
The system would allow an individual to be deleted from an incident when they were present in a Vehicle screen.
The system would allow an individual to be deleted from an incident when they were present in a Property screen.

Arrest Offenses

If the user cancelled out of adding an arrest offense, a blank offense line could be left behind. This would result in MACR errors.

Incident Report

Sometimes, the report would not recognize the end of the narrative, resulting in some or all of the narrative printing twice.

UCR Domestic Violence Report

Asphyxiation field was added to Incident Offense screen.
The Domestic Violence report now prints strangulation and suffocation totals .

UCR Supplemental Homicide Report

Suspect information now prints in accordance with DOJ requirements.

Referential Integrity

A vehicle entered in a citation could be deleted.
An individual entered in a citation as registered owner could be deleted.
An officer entered in a citation could be deleted.
An individual entered in an event vehicle screen as RO or driver could be deleted.
An individual entered in an arrest screen as arrested could be deleted.
An individual entered in an arrest screen as next of kin could be deleted.
An individual entered in an arrest screen as employer could be deleted.
An individual entered in an incident vehicle screen could be deleted.
An individual entered in an incident property screen could be deleted.
An individual entered in a vehicle as registered owner or possessor could be deleted.
